Solutions Not Survival Stories: Resilience Isn’t a Compliment When It’s Just Desperation Wearing a Brave Face

Every flooded home is not just a tragedy, it’s a receipt and a tangible proof of systemic neglect. They call it resilience, but often, it’s just desperation wearing a brave face. Survival isn’t bravery when the system sets you up to drown. Stop praising people for surviving what they were never meant to endure. It’s not a miracle that we made it, it’s a disgrace that we had to.
