LONDON, United Kingdom — In a fresh sonic release, BRIT Award winners and global arena headliners Jungle has dropped their latest track “The Wave”, offering yet another taste of their highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Sunshine”, arriving on August 14th.
The new track now follows the success of lead single “Carry On”, which debuted as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record and quickly amassed over 14 million streams alongside heavy international airplay.
The trio of J Lloyd, Tom McFarland, and Lydia Kitto took inspiration for the latest hit in the making from the Brazilian music scene harking all the way back to the ’60s and ’70s, channelling the warmth and musicality of that era into a distinctly sleek production.
Lyrically, the track is about finding the strength to persevere with a relationship as it goes through challenges, delivering a dose of optimism in the face of tough times.

The upcoming album follows the massive momentum of their 2023 breakthrough “Volcano”, the album that yielded the huge viral hit “Back On 74”, which has long since surpassed 557 million streams and achieved widespread traction across TikTok and global charts.
Physical pre-orders for “Sunshine” are now available, with formats featuring standard black 180g single gatefold LP, Desert Peach single gatefold LP, translucent brown marble single gatefold LP, and digipak CD.
The band’s upcoming world tour then kicks off this September with a run of massive arena dates spanning North America, the UK, Europe and Australia.
