GLOBAL RELEASE — In 1996, in celebration of nature’s dreamlike quality, Kenzo Takada imagined a living, joyful, colorful water. A reinvented water, transformed into a waterfall of joy and poetry, then came the birth of KENZO Parfums’ L’Eau Kenzo for Women, an emblematic floral wave, followed in 1998 by its must-have counterpart for men.
In 2025, these iconic fragrances inspired a unique unisex creation: L’Eau Pure, a vibrant, colorful fragrance, as thrilling as a refreshing wave under the midday sun.
In a recent release, KENZO Parfums invites you to dive in the voluptuousness of L’Eau Ambrée, an exceptionally sensual and bold fragrance for everyone.

L’Eau Ambrée is a fragrance infused with sunlight. An enveloping scent inspired by the vision of an ocean bathed in the golden rays of the setting sun.
A juicy, sun-filled fig introduces solar notes of ylang-ylang, a complex harmony revealed in three distinct forms: a slightly spicy infusion; an extract of dried flowers with soft tones reminiscent of coconut, based on Firgood® technology; and a rich, deep essence that gives the accord amplitude.
This floral intensity contrasts with the crystalline freshness of Aquozone®, the most powerful aqua molecule in perfumery, where it is wrapped in warm, musky notes of Ambrox® and aromatic accents of immortelle absolute. The base adds another depth of sensuality to a sensational composition, by blending milky sandalwood with sweet, gourmand, almost creamy Tahitian vanilla, amplified by balmy inflections of benzoin.
“L’Eau Ambrée is a more sensual variation on L’Eau Pure, where freshness meets a warm and addictive radiance,” explained perfumers Daphné Bugey, who also created L’Eau Pure, and Nicolas Bonneville.
“Aquozone®, the ultra-fresh signature molecule of the first fragrance, contrasts with a trio of ylang-ylang that we sculpted like a golden beam of sunlight. And this warm caress lingers on the skin into a smooth, creamy base.”

KENZO Parfums’ commitment to sustainability continues with L’Eau Ambrée. The fragrance is composed of 90% natural-origin ingredients. Firgood® reveals a 100% natural, solvent-free ylang-ylang extract, obtained from dried flowers using an exclusive technology that preserves a distinctive olfactory character, different from traditional essential oil. The Aquozone® molecule, which links the two fragrances, is upcycled from clove leaves and is biodegradable. The alcohol used comes from French beets grown in fields undergoing agricultural transition to a regenerative model.
L’Eau Ambrée is entirely manufactured in France. Its bottle and cap, which elegantly evoke the shape of a drop of water, are crafted from glass containing 15% recycled material. Its packaging is made from paper sourced from responsible sources.

To mark the launch of L’Eau Pure, a new group of activist ambassadors joined the world of KENZO Parfums: the Coral Gardeners.
Dedicated to the preservation and restoration of coral reefs, the group was founded in 2017 by Titouan Bernicot, a young man from French Polynesia who became alarmed by the gradual disappearance of the reefs around his native island. Eight years later, the organisation has 80 members and has already replanted more than 160,000 corals.
Corals are home to 25% of marine biodiversity and are essential to the health of the oceans, which produce over 50% of the air we breathe. However, they are severely impacted by warming waters linked to climate change: 90% of corals could become extinct by 2050 if no significant action is taken.
KENZO Parfums has forged a long-term partnership with the Coral Gardeners, which now naturally includes L’Eau Ambrée.
KENZO Parfums supports its Coral Gardeners ambassadors in their mission to restore coral ecosystems, particularly through sales of L’Eau Pure and L’Eau Ambrée, where they have already financed the planting of a real underwater garden, colored by 11,000 corals. The House has also helped provide coral reef conservation training to 520 children from local communities.
A poetic, authentic and meaningful film, shot in Moorea (French Polynesia) with the Coral Gardeners. In their wake, the seabed takes on the colorful hues of corals and flowers. While air bubbles rise to the surface, L’Eau Ambrée and L’Eau Pure emerge like treasures brought back from the depths of an ocean filled with color and life.
This celebration of the positive activism get amplified in a series of visuals shot by Arthur de Kersauson, showcasing the Coral Gardeners, alongside the bottles of L’Eau Pure and L’Eau Ambrée immortalised by Léonard Méchineau, forming a real bridge between the sky and the colored waters. Bathed in the soft afternoon light, the guardians of the ocean appear in perfect harmony with nature, reaffirming the commitment of KENZO Parfums and its ambassadors to a more beautiful world.
The Kenzo L’Eau Ambrée Eau de Parfum is available in 30ml (Php 4,150), 50ml (Php 5,650), and 100ml (Php 7,350) formats.
