QUEZON CITY, Philippines—Breaking new ground at the heart of Quezon City, HYDRO Group, presents a dynamic addition to the metro’s dining and nightlife scene, with what it is dubbing as its multi-concept entertainment venue.
Spanning 1,040 square meters, the establishment opens four distinct outlets: Wave Restaurant + Café, 18th Hole, Aged 25 Reserve, and HYDRO. Together, these spaces redefine what it means to dine, party, and relax in the city, in one beautifully constructed hub for those looking to find a
“At HYDRO Group, we wanted to create a space where people can experience the best of both worlds—elevated dining and an unmatched nightlife atmosphere. Whether you’re here for a gourmet meal or a night of dancing, we strive to provide a seamless and unforgettable experience every time,” said Elaine Estrada, one of the establishment’s Managing Partners.
The HYDRO Group’s vision is to provide an elevated experience for all guests, be it foodies, colleagues in meetings, casual drinkers, and of course, partygoers. Each space offers a unique charm designed to cater to a diverse crowd.
“We want it to be a very unique concept. We want it to be tapping different age groups, different target markets. That’s why we also have different operational hours. Wave restaurant and Cafe will start to operate around 9am. So, it’s serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, making it perfect for families, friends and even for meetings. Alongside the 18th Hole, it could be something you could be enjoying with your family, colleagues and friends. And then right after dinner, we have a Hydro Club from 10pm up to 5am,” Estrada tells Rank Magazine.

Wave Restaurant + Café is perfect for dining enthusiasts, with a menu that celebrates diverse cultures, bringing an upscale fusion of Filipino, Spanish, and American comfort food, housed in an industrial design that’s more attune to what the younger generation are falling more and more in love with.
“It’s very Gen Z. So, it’s not the typical restaurant that’s glassed and closed. You get to see what’s inside. Technically, we have to do a lot of marketing to bring people in and then once they get to try our food, beverage, understanding that mas intimidating kasi yung front. So, they kind of feel, ‘Ay, it’s wholesome naman pala,” Estrada shares.
“We’re venturing more into the social media aspects of marketing to tap the much younger generation and just to make sure that they get to see that, ‘Ah, inside it’s actually very bright, vibrant. It’s very warm.’ It’s a contradiction to what’s outside. Kasi sa labas natin it’s just all black, high ceiling, so mukha syang mahal and intimidating. But we want to make sure it is an experience that people of all ages can enjoy.”

“Wave Restaurant + Café was born out of a desire to tell stories through food. We’ve taken inspiration from Filipino, Asian, Spanish, and American comfort food to create a menu that not only excites the palate but also evokes a sense of connection and shared memories,” adds Julz Bernardo, Corporate Chef and one of HYDRO Group’s Managing Partners in a press statement.
“We’re all about authenticity and creativity here at Wave. Our goal is to offer a dining experience that goes beyond just great food—it’s about creating moments that people will talk about long after they’ve left,” Chef Bernardo writes.
The restaurant also features an impressive selection of sundowner drinks, highballs, and premium cocktails, ensuring that every meal is accompanied by the perfect drink. In its elegant interiors, Wave Restaurant + Cafe also has brings multiple dedicated VIP areas for more intimate gatherings and functions with rooms that can house from 15 to 60 guests with consumable rates.

HYDRO, on the other hand, is the pulse of Quezon City’s nightlife, delivering a haven for a high-energy rave experience with music that moves the crowd. With seating for up to 800 to 1,000 guests across two floors, Hydro opens a new hub for a vibrant and cutting-edge party scene.
“HYDRO is all about energy and escapism. We wanted to create a space where people could forget about everything else and lose themselves in the music, the lights, and the atmosphere. It’s more than just a club; it’s an experience,” said Estrada in a press statement. HYDRO operates from 10PM to 5AM, six nights a week, and promises a night of high-octane celebration.
“It is the perfect time, I believe so, because right now, markets are very competitive. So [coming] from the pandemic itself, lahat ng mga restaurants, bar concepts are very, very competitive. So, having to introduce an all-in-one concept here in Quezon City is quite new. Kasi alam naman natin mas movers and shakers ang BGC and Poblacion market,” Estrada tells Rank Magazine on bringing an all-in-one lifestyle concept in the city.
“I think is very long overdue. Because when we say Instagrammable bars, cafes, restaurants, it’s always in the south. So, they’ve always been downplaying the Quezon City Market. That’s why we wanted to share that kind of lifestyle, and to give our market a very durable, aesthetic, community-friendly space for the newer generations, that is also affordable.”
With all of these in consideration, HYDRO Group is looking to be more than just a venue but a bustling destination for those seeking to elevate their lifestyle, where good food, great drinks, and vibrant celebrations are made.
