MANILA, Philippines — In an effort to commemorate The Mind Museum turning 13, here are things that the haven for learning seeks to bring forth this month. Since it opened in March 2012, science has come alive as the museum welcomed curious minds, young and young at heart, from all walks of life to a fun learning journey exploring a slew of hands-on exhibits and programs.
Since opening its doors to explorers of all ages, it has welcomed over 2.5 million guests but it has stayed fresh, with the ever-growing support from the public. Among the crowd favorites are Stan, the resident t.rex fossil, Static Ball, which lets you experience the power of static electricity, Butanding, the life-size whale shark, Tunnel Craft at the Universe Gallery, the Immersive Sea of Digital Art (ISDA) where art comes to life on screen, Mind Moving Studios, demos and experiments by resident scientists and more.

To mark this milestone, a weekend of curiosity-driven experiences is slated to happen on March 14-16, 2025. With the theme “After Hours,” this celebration promises a unique blend of science, fun social engagement, and discovery, including a special Pi Day celebration, an extended museum experience, and interactive birthday games, all happening at night. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of learning and fun.
