MANILA, Philippines The year is almost drawing to a close with the nights becoming cooler approaching December, and Starbucks Philippines makes its anticipated annual return more for their most awaited 2026 Starbucks Traditions Collection, inviting customers and collectors alike to join in the celebration of joy — or rather Ligaya — to share a moment in familiarity with friends or family. Even if one celebrates the holidays solo, they are equally as welcome to join in and bask in the warmth of the festivities.

Adapting the theme of “Invite Joy”, this year’s collection of merch takes on the tones of nostalgia and comfort, bringing in the perfect vibe for reunions and happy catching-up. Customers can now start collecting stickers through the Starbucks PH App or the QR Promo card, and what better time is it to hit up the old group chats and make that meet up come true?

Just about 23 years since Starbucks Traditions began, it has been both a collectible piece and a shared experience for baristas and customers alike. “This season,” said Jamie Silva, Senior Manager for Marketing and Digital Customer Experience, “We invite everyone to rediscover joy in their own cherished holiday rituals.”

There is a collectible piece that can accompany one’s routines, with this year’s collection composed of a planner, a tumbler, a cold cup, and a mug; each can be an ideal gift for one’s self or for a cherished one that would appreciate the gesture.

Starting off with the 2026 Siren Planner with Carrier, designed in elegant charcoal and onyx tones, the planner comes with a matching leather carrier and a sleek pen for keeping track of notes and dates to remember and possibly to look back on for all year long. The planner also features artworks inspired by the Siren, showcasing the murals of different Starbucks stores.

The 2026 Charcoal 24oz Cold Cup features a subtle iridescent sheen with black lid and straw, the best for your beverages on the rocks. Even when one’s on a walk in a park or simply just waiting to hitch a ride, the Cold Cup is there for staying refreshed and cool with every sip.

The 2026 Onyx 15 oz Stainless Steel Tumbler, which is perfect to maintain a drink’s temperature if one’s on the go for a spontaneous meet up plan. Hot or cold, the tumbler, what with its subtle metallic details and deep onyx finish, will be keeping your coffee all the same as you move along even at the end of the day.

The collection wraps up with the 2026 Sandstone 12oz Mug having the colors of warm and earthy tones, the ceramic mug is made to be the accompanying item while sharing intimate moments and sharing stories by the kitchen table. The mug comes with a complementary pouch for small items and trinkets to store in mementos and folded notes for keeping.

Set the date for the reunion

Collecting stickers officially starts this month all across Starbucks stores nationwide with every purchase of handcrafted beverages and can be earned through the Starbucks App or the QR Promo Card when purchasing eligible drinks for the first time. Stickers can still be earned as well through delivery. Further details can be seen through the Starbucks Traditions website.

The redemption period of the 2026 Starbucks Traditions collection runs until March 24, 2026 so worry not for there is enough time even when things get hectic.

And truly, there is joy when there is a companion, and sometimes that companion is in the form of little things that make up moments to never forget. As the sense of smell tends to be the strongest to invoke memories, the rich aroma of coffee is certainly the warmest greeting to look back on the days before as the holiday spirit is slowly taking its root.

To go with this known Holiday rituals drop, the freshly-released 2026 Starbucks Traditions video makes full use of Filipino band Eraserheads, “Ligaya,”  enlisting the help of real Starbucks partners (baristas) behind the counter, championing the campaign’s theme of lasting connections.

“The holidays in the Philippines are rich with nostalgia, and the enduring charm of ‘Ligaya’ perfectly captures that feeling,” said Jamie Silva. “By anchoring our video with this Filipino tune, we celebrate the joy delivered every day by our partners (baristas), honoring their role in sharing those simple, genuine moments with our customers.”

The song will also be played in all Starbucks stores nationwide from November 2 to January 5, throughout the holiday campaign.
