Based on Edmond Rostand’s classic Cyrano de Bergerac and Soc Rodrigo’s Filipino Translation, “Mula Sa Buwan” is about young spirited souls fighting for their place in society amid the war-torn landscape of 1940s Manila.

Since Pat Valera and William Elvin Manzano created “Mula Sa Buwan” in 2010, the musical has been staged in 2011, 2016, 2018, and 2022. In 2023, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative released its first proshot of “Mula Sa Buwan“, which garnered critical acclaim around the world. This 2024 staging promises the same magic and raging love that has helped cement the beloved musical’s place in Philippine theater.
