MANILA, Philippines—In 2014, The Sandbox Collective raised the curtain on its theatrical journey, and now, a decade later, the company persists in delivering groundbreaking theatrical work for Manila audiences. Celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary, The Sandbox Collective proudly unveils its 2024 Season, centered around themes of coming of age and rediscovery.

Fresh from the success of recent productions like Sandbox Fest 2023, featuring Lungs and Every Brilliant Thing, and Bawat Bonggang Bagay, the collective gears up for a thrilling season that pays homage to its journey and continuous rediscovery. Reflecting the collective’s evolution, the lineup explores growing pains, milestones, finding one’s voice and place in society, and navigating life’s biggest questions.

Kicking off in February 2024, the pandemonium begins with The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, an award-winning Broadway musical directed by Missy Maramara, with Dingdong Rosales as assistant director and Rony Fortich as musical director. This bee promises a fast-paced, funny, and touching experience, running from February to March 2024 at PowerMac Center Spotlight Theater, Circuit Makati.
