The film transports viewers to a fantastical new setting, a dream world where precocious Nemo played by Marlow Barkley and her oddball companion Flip, played by Jason Momoa-set off on an unforgettable journey.

Young Nemo’s peaceful life in the Pacific Northwest is completely upended when she is moved to live in the city with her well-meaning but socially awkward uncle Phillip played by Chris O’Dowd, following the unexpected loss of her father played by Peter Kyle Chandler at sea.

A secret map to the wonderful kingdom of Slumberland links Nemo to Flip, a rough-around-the-edges but endearing outlaw who rapidly becomes her sidekick and guide.

During the day, Nemo’s new school and routine are hard. Nemo quickly finds herself on an amazing voyage with Flip, navigating dreams and escaping nightmares, and she starts to feel hopeful that she will eventually find her father again.

Slumberland is directed by Francis Lawrence, written by David Guion and Michael Handelman and produced by Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, David Ready, and Francis Lawrence. The film also stars Weruche Opia, India De Beaufort, and Humberly Gonzalez.
