Yes! There’s no stopping your K-drama fix from coming. Based on a famed webtoon, a new fantasy drama is coming to Netflix this month. Mystic Pop-up Bar follows the mysterious adventures (and misadventures) of a surly and uncouth owner of a late-night bar (otherwise known in Korea as a pojangmacha or an outdoor drinking spot) and her naive young part-timer, who magically enter their customers’ dreams to counsel them and in turn. help them resolve their emotional baggage.

In a trailer released on the streaming service, we see a glimpse of the significant encounters among its three main characters: Weol-ju (Hwang Jung-eum), Kang-bae (Yook Sung-jae), and Guibanjang (Choi Won-young), who turns out to be Weoul-ju’s watcher.

Born with a gift of clairvoyance, Kang-bae, will be instrumental to Weol-ju’s 100,000-troubled-souls quota, as a human magnet for people’s unresolved sorrows and problems. Kang-bae will then take Weol-ju’s divine healing power as a way to rid of his empathetic magnetism. As they cross between the mystic pop up bar in this world and people’s dreams in the World-In-Between, their fates intertwine.

‘Mystic Pop-Up Bar’ will premiere onNetflix, with episodes every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 pm (Philippines Time) starting May 20. First look images and the official trailer below:
