During this enhanced community quarantine, when most corporate organizations are trying to seek normalcy in their operations in these uncertain times, many have adopted a work-from-home set-up to fulfill company duties.
While the home-based scheme is not unheard of, during this time of anxiety, keeping oneself productive is a challenge and surviving this, continues to be a taxing undertaking. In this set-up, telecommuting is a means the workforce has utilized to keep tasks in check.
Culture-shaping animation studio, Studio Ghibli, earlier this week, released a series of wallpapers designed for web conferences. Based off some of its most iconic films, the wallpapers are all available for download free of charge. These include scenery from worlds curated by films Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, among others.

In their release, the studio noted, “It is provided for the purpose of being used by individuals as a background for Web / TV conference applications such as telecommuting, teleworking, and distance learning.”
As of now, eight unique wallpapers are officially shared for download via this website. According to the studio, more content will be released sequentially. It was noted that the images cannot be used for commercial purposes or for advertising of companies or products.
