MANILA, Philippines — The perfect theater date begins before the curtain rises. Add a buffet, dinner for two, or an overnight hotel stay, and it becomes the kind of plan worth clearing an entire weekend for.

Newport World Resorts is giving theatergoers more ways to experience “Bongga Ka, ’Day!: The Annie Batungbakal Musical” with Bonggang Bundles that pair show tickets with a dining or staycation experience, taking some of the planning out of theater night while adding more reasons to arrive early and stay a little longer.
