LOOK: Ariana Grande is ‘absolutely crying’ at the Sight of Fans in Recent UMG Philippines Viewing Party

MANILA, Philippines — Not a stranger to larger-than-life all-Filipino fan love, and equally generous in expressing her gratitude to these displays of adoration, global music and pop culture superstar Ariana Grande shared glee at the sight of a flock of local superfans attending UMG Philippines’ brighter days ahead – Official Philippine Watch Party in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

The event, attended by over 1500 Arianators (the name of the popstar’s fan group) and visited by more than 3000 people, celebrates the new release of the musician’s album “eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead” out now on all streaming platforms, along with a short film, “brighter days ahead” recently released on Youtube.

The Grammy-award winner expressed admiration on a post by the Instagram page arianators.wildin, where the attendees screamed in chorus over a part of the screened short film. She then shared some of the photos posted by the same page on her Instagram stories, including the reel where she pasted a sticker saying ‘”I love you sooooo much“. In fact, her mother, Joan Grande, was also quick to reply to a video of Arianators screaming, “We love you Ariana from your Filipino Arianators!” with a post responding, “How lovely!!! Love back to you !!!!! xoxox“.

Ultimately, the event was filled with excited fans who got together to watch the short film on the metro’s largest 4K 3D LED from Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Moreover, they were thrilled to experience the on-ground booths including a self-shoot photobooth by A Studios, a claw machine with official Ariana Grande merch, and some snacks to complete their watch party experience.

To further brighten up the program, Filipino drag queens, M1ss Jade So (who is also a Drag Race Philippines Season 2 finalist), Moonlight, and Izzy Xtra performed fan favorites from the album and got the venue hyped up with their special performances. Grande previously shared a reel of M1ss Jade So performing her hit single – we can’t be friends (wait for your love) last year on her Instagram page.

AC Soriano  hosted the event to the delight of the attendees. Arianators also came prepared as selected fans joined the Ariana-oke, with a superfan singing competition where they sang the new tracks from the deluxe album, and one of them took home an official Wicked vinyl featuring the character Glinda, played by the pop powerhouse in the movie.

This served as a perfect celebration as “eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead”, released at the tail-end of March, is currently the #1 album both on Spotify Philippines and Apple Music Philippines, where all tracks are charting on the respective Top Songs of the streaming platforms including ‘twilight zone’ that peaked at #1 on Apple Music Philippines.

To mark this an even more special occasion, Ariana Grande is also the #1 Weekly Top Artist on Spotify Philippines for the first time. All her studio albums since her debut are charting inside the Weekly Top Albums Philippines Charts.
