Designed to provide industry-wide innovations in the mid-range portfolio, the Galaxy A50 and A30 offer improvements to essential device features that matter most, including an immersive viewing experience, longer lasting battery, and a camera that captures the world as one sees it.

The launch of SAMSUNG’s newest offering in the mid-range category- Galaxy A50 – gathered members of the media along with different online personalities and University students for an experience like no other in the SAMSUNG A-Live event held at The Axon, Green Sun in Makati City. Samsung built different experiential rooms, tagged as the A-suites, where guests got to test out the premium camera features of the Galaxy A50.

Guests also got a peek of the newest TVC for the Galaxy A50 starring their brand ambassador, Liza Soberano, and featuring volleyball superstar Melissa Gohing and rising OPM band Ben & Ben.

Galaxy A50

The Galaxy A50 takes photos in a revolutionary way with its triple camera setup, intended to mimic human eyesight[1].

Its rear cameras include a 25MP main camera for taking clear photos even in low light; an 8MP Ultra Wide camera to capture a wider view in every shot; and a 5MP Live Focus camera to create bokeh images that will take any social media post to the next level.

The 25MP main camerashoots vivid images in bright daylight. While in darkness, the f/1.7 aperture enables clear shots by detecting more light and reducing noise. Combined with the depth lens, the camera offers a Live Focus experience, enabling users to choose exactly where to accentuate.

The 8MP Ultra Wide camera can capture 123° wide shots and capture the world without constraint.

With the 25MP front camera, selfies are even made better using Selfie Focusto subtly blur background details.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 is not only capable of taking top-notch photos with its versatile camera; it also lets aspiring content creators capture and produce more content with the A50’s long-lasting 4,000 mAh battery and fast charging technology. Every moment worth sharing online will not be missed.

The newest front liner in the A series for 2019 also sports the all-new Infinity U display, which offers a 6.4” Super AMOLED screen for vivid colors. Equipped with an on-screen fingerprint scanner, the A50 provides intuitive unlocking without changing grip.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 comes in a comfortable slim design and smooth curved shape. It is also available in three new characterful color options: Black, White, and Blue inspired by scattered light.

Galaxy A30

The Galaxy A30 is built for those who are on-the-go all the time. It is equipped with a powerful 4,000mAh fast-charging battery. Its edge-to-edge 6.4” Super AMOLED Infinity-U display offers an immersive experience, ideal for gaming, watching videos, multi-tasking, and browsing –letting users live life on-the-go without missing a moment.

Created for a more seamless mobile experience, the A30 includes advanced camera features such as a Dual Camera, including an Ultra Wide-angle lens. It is also equipped with a Rear Fingerprint unlocking feature, as well as intuitive Face Unlock, for simple and secure access.

The Galaxy A50 and A30 will be available starting March 30, 2019 with a suggested retail price of PHP 17,990 and PHP 13,990, respectively.

From March 16 to 29, consumers can pre-order the new Galaxy A50 through authorized Samsung stores nationwide and online partners Abenson, Argomall, Lazada, Memo Express, and Shopee. All pre-orders come with a free JBL Go 2 speaker worth PHP 2,299, a mini tripod worth PHP 1,499, and a 10,000mAh battery pack worth PHP 1,299. Meanwhile, customers who purchase the Galaxy A30 from March 30-31 can also get a free JBL Go 2 speaker.
