GLOBAL NEWS—The French producer, vocalist and musical mad scientist, Tobias Dray ended 2022 with a for the fans through the release of “Maya,” written with a chance online encounter in mind.
Teasing clips from an Omegle conversation with a stranger almost two years ago, fans created their own romantic storylines and made the track a viral story before it was even released. Following the single’s release, “Maya” became Dray’s fastest streaming song of the year, earning the seventh spot on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday playlist. Fans can expect Dray and Maya to meet in person later this year to create an official video for the song.
