For “Dirty Water” and “Girls Don’t Like,” the 10 finalists showcased their growth as artists and performed in two groups, highlighting both their dancing and singing abilities, marking the culmination of “The Debut: Dream Academy” journey. The final performance of “All The Same” by all 10 contestants symbolized unity and sisterhood, encapsulating the beginning and end of their Dream Academy journey.

The group name, KATSEYE, was revealed, representing the uniqueness and power of each member, akin to the cat’s eye gemstone, known for its diverse colors and symbolic qualities of luck and good fortune.

The final lineup was determined through a combination of early and real-time votes, along with evaluators’ scores. The global girl group, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, is a groundbreaking venture bringing together major U.S. and K-pop expertise, with the creation process documented in an upcoming Netflix series directed by Nadia Hallgren, set to premiere in Summer 2024.

Bang Si-Hyuk, Chairman of HYBE, expressed pride in the collaboration, while John Janick, Chairman & CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M, commended the artists’ dedication.

Following the live finale, KATSEYE will embark on their album production for a 2024 release, and the original songs from the event are available on YouTube.
