MANILA, Philippines—Holiday celebrations are in full throttle in the Philippines, which has the world’s longest Christmas season. To celebrate the festive season, the global technology firm Epson collaborated with the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) for Binurda, CCP’s annual Christmas display and building façade lighting, weaving diverse cultures and continuing Paskong Pinoy traditions.

Epson, as the official Visual Display Partner, provides its high brightness projectors to display the rich needlework legacy in the Philippines, as well as the cultural traditions interlaced with the stories of the Filipino people. This Christmas and cultural celebration, designed by CCP Production Design and Technical Division, is brought to life by Epson’s cutting-edge technology. CCP’s main building façade is turned into a significant pina jusi cloth with magnificent callado or the delicate embroidery and stitching with Sampaguita details over the holiday season.

As the official Virtual Display Partner, we are honored to share our visual imaging innovations to light up the CCP façade, spread an appreciation for the beautiful Filipino heritage, and further boost the holiday spirit among audiences,” said Ed Bonoan, General Manager of the Epson Philippines Marketing Division.

Binurda opened its concert and lighting event to the public last December; The façade decorations will run until January 2023.
