MANILA, Philippines — In a recent brand activation, FUJIFILM Philippines has officially launched its newest playful instax mini 13 at the instax Pop District.
The SM Mall of Asia Main Mall Atrium saw an immersive and colorful celebration where every moment is an opportunity not just to be more, but to be joyfully extra and vibrantly creative even in unplanned moments.
At the heart of the district is the release of the instax mini 13, designed to capture life’s happiest moments—especially the ones that happen when you least expect them. While it retains the iconic ‘aim and shoot’ simplicity of the analog era, it has been reimagined for a generation that lives for unscripted adventures and organic encounters.
Bannering this release is the new self-timer feature, which gives creators the freedom to take a selfie or group shot, in 2 or 10 second timer.
Perfectly designed for those who love being spontaneous, the self-timer empowers users to step out from behind the lens and experiment with various poses, angles, and distances. It is all about making sure every frame captures the full, vibrant brilliance of life’s most unexpected and joyful surprises.

Joining the celebration are the newest members of the instax Squad, Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales fresh of their recent reality television stint. The crowd is captivated with stories of how they have stayed bold and authentic on and off cam. Together, they showcased how the instax mini 13 has served as their constant companion in their journey.
Cayetano shared how much she likes taking photos, especially when with friends and family. “The instax mini 13 really makes me feel more confident to capture every loud and happy moment–showing my makulit side. I really like sharing a piece of remembrance with my friends and family. It is like giving them a piece of you.”
Jornales, on the one hand, then echoed the importance of staying present, noting how much he values moments with the people he treasures. “It is about capturing those genuine, unfiltered moments with the people who matter most–the real connection we share. And with the instax mini 13, there’s something you can give that is worth holding onto.”

Their debut at the Pop District underscores a new chapter for instax—one that is louder, brighter, and more rooted to the spontaneous joy of everyday life.
FUJIFILM Philippines Imaging Solutions Marketing Head Glenn Gatan expressed his excitement about the brand’s evolving direction and its new ambassadors. “We are celebrating the courage to be authentic. To be vibrant, real, and unafraid to share your true selves with the world. Our goal is to inspire everyone to move beyond just taking a photo and start giving a piece of their story to others.

A World of Pastel
Running until April 30, the instax Pop District opened doors to guests with fun and colorful specialized pods that cater to every creative whim. Guests can explore a dedicated instax mini 13 pod alongside the raw charm of the Quicksnap booth, a nostalgic corner where fans could get hands-on with classic disposable cameras. The high-gloss energy of the Biz Pop Photobooth took things to the next level—a sleek standing station where guests could snap high-quality photos and watch them come to life instantly via the instax mini Link+ printer.
Beyond the interactive pods, guests can dive deeper into their artistic side with creative weekend workshop sessions. The district features a Snap & Craft Journaling Workshop led by miniature artist Nina Hidalgo on April 25, demonstrating the versatility of the instax mini 13.
