MANILA, Philippines — With illustrious years as the iconic Philippine streetwear brand, OXGN launches a campaign celebrating the meeting point of music, movement, and streetwear.

Anchored by a reimagined budots x hip-hop fusion track created with international DJs SGAMO and Jarreau Vandal, The Final Round pays tribute to budots pioneer DJ Love and the grassroots sound rooted in Davao, transforming a culturally significant genre into a platform for style, movement, and community participation.

Rolled out under the banner “Local Sound. Global Recognition. Streetwear Expression.,” the campaign hooks audiences through music and movement before introducing OXGN’s clothing line, unfolding through a performance-driven campaign film and a three-part collection drop across August, September, and October.

THE FINAL ROUND spotlights street culture and builds on the idea that the Filipino sound can keep evolving and gain recognition on a global stage, while inviting the community that evolved the concept to what is today to be part of the story.

“We wanted to show that Filipino streetwear can stand confidently beside global style movements while still staying close to the people it was made for. The collection takes AMEKAJI inspiration and translates it through OXGN’s local lens. Creating fashion and merchandise that feel elevated, relevant, and competitive on a global scale, but still reachable for young Filipinos,” shares Cathleen Cotioco Brand Director of OXGN, in a press statement.

Reimagined for the Streets

With its rise from the grassroots community to mainstream entertainment, budots, has long been a defining thread of Filipino street and party culture.

For THE FINAL ROUND, OXGN worked with reimagines that energy and uses it as the emotional and cultural anchor for the campaign’s performance-driven film and rollout.

The three collection drops in August, September, and October, each building on the campaign’s music-and-movement narrative before centering OXGN’s streetwear line, are all designed for the modern urbanite and rooted in street culture, music, and grassroots community.

The collection draws on Amekaji (アメカジ), the Japanese take on American casual style that reworks vintage Western workwear and military staples through a refined Japanese design sensibility, coming through in relaxed silhouettes, camo prints, and textured fabrics across the men’s and women’s lines.

Prices start at PHP 899.00

Following its social media drop in August, THE FINAL ROUND will continue through the month, leading into the September and October collection drops.
