MANILA, Philippines — Fresh off its recent release UNIQLO honors the interwoven hallmarks of its ever-evolving jeans collection, marked by its innovation, quality, and simplicity. Highlighted in each piece are its comfort and versatility in styling, including a full range of wide jeans selections that prove to be the new essential pair of bottoms for everyone—a denim movement sweeping fashion circles here and abroad.

In a showcase for a press event in Makati City, ace stylist Bea Constantino discussed what makes UNIQLO jeans trendy, comfortable, and versatile for men and women, while Kiichiro Sibue of Amekaji Philippines amplified the country’s growing community subscribing to their namesake timeless style.

Amekaji refers to the Japanese interpretation of popular American styles, combining classic fashion items like selvedge denim, workwear and rugged jackets for a look that simultaneously feels vintage and modern. Constantino and Sibue emphasized how UNIQLO jeans present pieces perfect for the simple yet sophisticated look, which they said can be enjoyed regardless of age or gender.

Sibue, who also leads the fashion community Masterpiece Edition Philippines, delivered styling tips and tricks on denim jeans to guests, assisted by UNIQLO App’s handy fashion features: MySize Assist that lets users check their size to ensure the perfect fit, as well as StyleHint, which allows users to dress up or dress down their favorite denim jeans. Using these tips, the guests paired their jeans of choice with a vast variety of tops and accessories, showcasing how UNIQLO jeans work well in any wardrobe.

Among UNIQLO’s denim offerings, shoppers will surely enjoy a huge variety of stylish and classic silhouettes that are sure to complement their preferences. Now that wider silhouettes have become the new fashion staple over recent years, shoppers should look out for  the Women’s Wide Trouser Jeans which resemble trousers, the Women’s Wide Straight Jeans which sports a well-thought-out loose silhouette, and the Women’s Drapey Wide Flared Jeans with its modern-retro silhouette. Men are also presented with sartorial suggestions, like the Men’s Wide Straight Jeans and its perfect balance of a clean and relaxed look, as well as the Men’s Wide Tapered Jeans and its in-season barrel silhouette.

UNIQLO Jeans has long since been known for innovation, quality, and simplicity. Banking on this design ethos, the global apparel retailer creates jeans of the future from original fabrics in pursuit of innovation at its cutting-edge Jeans Innovation Center (JIC) in Los Angeles, California. Established in 2016 with the mandate to evolve with the times, the JIC crafts premium jeans, using lasers, bio-washing, nano-bubbles, and other advanced equipment. Given the importance of the “washing” stage in jeans production, these state-of-the-art manufacturing methods reduce the use of water by as much as 99%. While the JIC pushes for waterless jeans, its novel production processes do not compromise fashion over function in any way.

Essentially, UNIQLO jeans are developed from high-grade Japanese fabric together with Kaihara Denim, a world-renowned denim manufacturer that serves as a benchmark for excellence. The process combines craftsmanship and laser technology to achieve both appearance and comfort. The resulting revolutionary denims present beautiful aging and versatility.

Lastly, for simplicity, the UNIQLO jeans features design that is minimal, simple, and essential jeans that fit into any wardrobe. Every piece goes well with any age, gender, and style.
