GLOBAL RELEASE — Multi-platinum global superstar Hilary Duff has just released “Roommates”, the second single from her highly anticipated new album, “luck… or something”, arriving on all platforms on Friday, February 20 via Atlantic Records.

“Roommates” is co-written by Duff with her husband, GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter/producer Matthew Koma, known collaborators of Britney Spears, P!nk, and Brian Phillips, who worked with the likes of Alec Benjamin, blink-182, who also co-produced the track.

“’Roommates’ is a song about when life is life-ing, babe,” Duff writes in a statement. “It’s that ache for a wilder, freer time – before the days were swallowed by carpools, budget talks, grocery runs and letting old or new insecurities slip in. It’s the restless hum of wanting to find your way back – to your rhythm, to your person, to yourself”.

Following the track’s release, the official music video dropped, directed by Matty Peacock (Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande), bringing the song to life.

This latest track release sets the stage for Duff’s sixth studio album, ‘luck… or something’, that also features the acclaimed lead single Mature”, available everywhere now. The sardonic, shimmering single, prior to this latest launch, quickly amassed over 5 million global streams in its first week.

Inspired by romantic misadventures from her formative years, Mature unfolds as a piece of auto-fiction set against bright pop production and layered with Duff’s signature wit and vulnerability.

The song is accompanied by an evocative music video directed by Lauren Dunn (Olivia Rodrigo, Dove Cameron, Saweetie), which has garnered over 3.3 million views and counting on YouTube, alongside an exclusive behind-the-scenes mini-documentary from the shoot.

Building on this momentum, the global pop star is set to celebrate the release of “luck… or something” next week with her “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” dates—an instantly sold-out run of intimate live shows across the UK and US. The performances mark her first headline concert appearances in over a decade, making them a major milestone in this exciting new chapter of her career.
