Days after the declaration of the enhanced community quarantine not just in the Philippines, but in other countries around the globe, artists leaned on the arts and social media to spread a message of hope and security to people amidst the seemingly uncertain turn of events brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. From global icons Chris Martin of Coldplay, to John Legend, and local legends and stars Ryan Cayabyab to Ebe Dancel, we have seen music play an integral role not just to inspire those who are compelled to stay at home, but more importantly, an instrument used to raise funds for those who are in need in this time of crisis.

With this, ABS-CBN, through its Pantawid Pagibig initiative, is set to stage a fundraising concert featuring more than 100 of its Kapamilya stars via “At Home Together Concert”. The three-hour concert will be simultaneously aired tonight at 7PM on ABS-CBN channels, and streamed on the network’s social media channels. In a post, the network wrote, “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig: At-Home Together Concert” will not only bring joy and music to Filipinos who are staying at home, but will also help raise funds to purchase food and basic necessities for Filipinos who are unable to make a living because of the enhanced community quarantine. #PantawidNgPagibig.”

As seen in the concert teaser, stars like Regine Velasquez, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Julia Montes, Angel Locsin, and Coco Martin, among others, are expected to headline the online show. Earlier this week, ABS-CBN launched the “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig” fund-raising campaign, forging significant partnership with local government officials in Metro Manila and private companies, aimed at providing food and basic necessities to Filipinos greatly affected by the enhanced community quarantine.

It was earlier reported, through ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak, that the Lopez Group of Companies has donated P100 Million to “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig.”
