CEBU CITY, Philippines — Rising Filipino designer Chynna Mamawal recently showcased her latest wedding and red carpet collection at IFAW 2026: Brides at Triton in Cebu City Philippines.

The showcase forms part of a landmark collaboration between The Brides at Triton Wedding Expo and the International Fashion & Arts Week, organized by Spotlight Couronne Internationale (SCI). This highlights the growing intersection between bridal fashion and global couture, bringing together Filipino creativity and international influence in one platform.

Mamawal’s latest collection highlights a refined color palette of white, beige, and black, carrying a design and visual identity rooted in tropical opulence, through what the designer describes as architectural romance. Sculpted bodices, cascading silk, and intricate handmade florals define the pieces, blending structure with softness.

The collection also presents a dynamic mix of fluid gowns and sharply tailored, whimsical, and empowered suits, presenting a modern interpretation of bridal and red carpet dressing.

Her runway presentation featured a lineup of celebrity models including Jake Cuenca, Maxene Magalona, Tim Yap, Emmanuelle Vera, and Rere Madrid, who will present key pieces from the collection.

Mamawal shares in a statement, “[This] brings together two things I value most, celebrating love and showcasing Filipino creativity on a bigger stage. This collection is my interpretation of tropical opulence.”

She continues, “I wanted to explore architectural romance through sculpted forms, soft movement, and intricate details, while giving women pieces that make them feel both powerful and feminine, whether they are walking down the aisle or stepping into the spotlight.”

For the past five years, The Brides at Triton Wedding Expo has long become a recognized platform for couples planning their weddings in Cebu.

The event continues to serve as a venue where industry professionals, families, and soon-to-be couples gather to explore ideas and services for their celebrations.
