For generations, Filipino families have lived on a culture of coming together and enjoying a good meal–be it on special occasions or just a regular weekend at home.
Undeniable is the part played by Jollibee and its now-legendary chicken servings that make the child in us call out for “isa pa, isa pa, isa pang Chickenjoy”. The fastfood giant’s latest video ad brings back the iconic and catchy chant first heard in commercials featuring actors Aga Muhlach and Serena Dalrymple back in the ‘90s. This short video highlights Chickenjoy by showing young Filipinos doing the chant, along with their family.
The ad underscores how the chant still has a place in the hearts of the younger generation of Filipinos, because honestly, after all these years, who eats just one piece of Chickenjoy?
“Jollibee Chickenjoy is so beloved among generations of Filipinos that reviving ‘isa pa, isa pang Chickenjoy’ still resonates so much with everyone after all this time,” says Cathleen Capati, Jollibee Marketing AVP for the Bestsellers Category. “There’s still no better fried chicken in the country, and certainly no other chicken that’ll make you want to have one more piece.”
