MANILA, Philippines — Following a recent call for entries, the FEU Film Society, Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila’s premier film organization, commenced the 17th year of their annual film festival, Sinepiyu. Running on the theme ‘Sinepiyu 17 Gimik: Isigaw ang Puso, this year aims to break new ground to a platform for student filmmakers in highlighting social realities through storytelling while advocating for new beginnings and resisting historical revisionism.
