MANILA, Philippines MQuest Artists Agency (MQAA) opens doors for aspiring actors and industry veterans to summer workshops led by acting coach in the Philippines, Rahyan Carlos, one of the most respected figures in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Since 1997, Carlos has made a mark in film and television as an accomplished director, scriptwriter, and acting coach. With a career spanning decades, Carlos then became a creative force behind some films including the popular Shake, Rattle & Roll 8, the suspenseful Pamahiin, and the internationally acclaimed independent film Ringgo: The Dog Shooter. He has also had presence on television with such television series as Florinda and Lovespell on ABS-CBN, as well as Regal Shocker on TV5.

Trained under Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck—whose clients include Hollywood stars like Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Sylvester Stallone, and Charlize Theron—Carlos is the only Filipino authorized to teach the prestigious Chubbuck Technique in the Philippines. Over the past 26 years, he has mentored countless award-winning actors, both in the Philippines and abroad, and continues to inspire future generations of acting talents.

This summer, Carlos is set to bring this expertise to MQuest Artists Agency’s workshops, introducing participants to the Chubbuck Technique, a transformative approach to acting that has shaped the careers of many including well-known names in Hollywood. Whether just starting out or already an experienced actor, these workshops offer invaluable insights into the craft of acting and provide an opportunity to take skills to the next level.

Participants will also have the chance to be discovered and added to the MQAA Artists Registry, a step toward future opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Following in-person registration for the workshops early on this month, the workshops are slated to commence in May 2025.
