To provide the best possible viewing experience, a dedicated orchestra seating section has been reserved for Deaf audience members and their companions, offering optimal sightlines to both the stage and the live FSL interpreters. These seats are available through the promo code ACCESSSEATS, which also provides a 20% discount. Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing patrons with a valid PWD ID may also avail of the standard PWD discount at physical TicketWorld outlets, further supporting the production’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
“Live theatre should be an experience everyone can enjoy,” said Marc Routh, CEO of Broadway Asia. “We’re proud to continue expanding access to the performing arts through this FSL-interpreted performance. ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ is a story about imagination, possibility, and wonder, and we’re excited to help make that experience more inclusive for members of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community.”
The initiative builds on GMG Productions’ ongoing efforts to make international theatre productions more accessible in the Philippines through partnerships with members of the Deaf community and sign language professionals.

Following a sold-out run at Shanghai Culture Square and enthusiastic audience acclaim, the world-famous production officially made its highly anticipated Manila premiere this month at The Theatre at Solaire, which made it all the more special with Filipino multi-awarded performer Karylle joining the cast as the loving and resilient Mrs. Bucket.
Based on Roald Dahl’s globally beloved novel, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” follows young Charlie Bucket’s golden-ticket adventure into the mysterious world of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, where chocolate rivers, nut-sorting squirrels, mischievous Oompa-Loompas, dazzling theatrical effects, and larger-than-life characters come to life alongside beloved songs from the classic 1971 film—including “Pure Imagination,” “The Candy Man,” and “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket”—and an original score by Grammy® and Tony Award® winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
“Roald Dahl’s ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ is a dazzling fantasy for everyone from everywhere,” said Simone Genatt and Marc Routh, Producers and Co-Owners of Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia. “This new production features miraculous special effects and cutting-edge hologauze 3D technology based on advanced magic principles. We are so excited to share the breathtaking world of this beloved Broadway musical about the power of imagination and the art of invention with Manila audiences in this spectacular new immersive production from an all-Broadway creative team.”
Transforming Willy Wonka’s fantastical factory into a world where the impossible feels possible, renowned Las Vegas magic and illusion designer Tim Clothier joins the Broadway team and says, “Willy Wonka is the king of imagination, and being able to design new stage wizardry for that character is a dream come true.”
Presented by Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia, in association with AMA Group of Companies and GMG Productions, with the support of UnionBank, Philippine Airlines, Fully Booked, and Auro Chocolate, the production runs until July 26, 2026.
