PHUKET, Thailand — In a well-attended coming together of creative talent and communities, TikTok, the world’s leading short-form video platform, just mounted the TikTok LIVE Fest 2025 Offline Event in Phuket, Thailand with attendees from around the Southeast Asia (SEA) and Caucasus and Central Asia (CCA) regions.
The celebration served as part of TikTok’s global initiative to acknowledge the growth of TikTok LIVE, the many LIVE creators across diverse content categories, and the rapid expansion of engaged viewer communities.
Following a global online competition in November and December 2025, participated by over 5 million creators across SEA and CCA, #LIVEFest25Phuket saw over 200 creators from the region to celebrate the diversity of the TikTok community, with aim at spotlighting cultural stories and communities, and honor outstanding LIVE creators.
“TikTok LIVE Fest is more than a celebration—it is a platform that supports creator community growth through meaningful LIVE experiences. Through online competitions, LIVE creators connect with their communities and one another, emphasizing deep real-time connections and empowering every LIVE session as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery,” said Napattha Chavalitcheewingul, Creator Manager for TikTok LIVE in Thailand.

Top performing Philippine creators were recognized at the regional event were also present including Mae Oclarit (mae_oclarit), Seth Sta. Ana (seth.tings), Cris Maravilla (imhersheyss), Lyra Micolob (lyramicolob21), and Ryssi Avila (imryssi).
The night also bannered an electrifying set by Thai girl group 4Eve, bringing the vibrant energy of the TikTok community to the physical stage.

Throughout 2025, TikTok LIVE recorded exponential growth, with over 100 million creators across SEA and CCA, a 77% increase from 2024. Well over half of those creators used LIVE for the first time, a testament to the creator ecosystem driving momentum in the emerging Live Economy.
Community participation also strengthened with LIVE generating over 134 billion comments, and Multi‑Guest participation reaching 1.1 billion guests.

In the Philippines, creator Ryssi (@imryssi) has emerged as one of the country’s most promising young voices from streaming raw and heartfelt performances. A student, mother, and creator with over 2.2 million followers, she has transformed personal moments into music that resonates across borders with a deep love for music that propelled her to connect with millions.
Following her coronation as Global Champion of Gimme the Mic, TikTok LIVE’s first-ever global music competition, she then took home the top spot in the TikTok LIVE Fest Fandom League for the Philippines.
